Goldendoodle Information
The Goldendoodle is a “hybrid,” meaning it comes from two breeds that are completely unrelated: the Golden Retriever and the Poodle. The Goldendoodle expresses the best traits from both of the breeds, while being all around more healthy, and sturdy than its parents. These dogs can vary in size, depending upon whether the Poodle parent is standard, miniature, or toy. A low to non-shedding coat is inherited from the Poodle. The coat can vary from long waves to tight curls, and it can also be most any color. The body stature will also vary, with some resembling a Golden Retriever and some more like a Poodle. At Mountain Doodles, our Miniature Goldendoodles are produced from our male Miniature Poodle and from one of our female Golden Retrievers. These puppies will generally range in size from 15 to 40 pounds.
